Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Singapore. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the revenue generation, and maintaining and expanding market share in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming requests, prepare offers and create order confirmations
- CRM data base to be used and maintained
- Cooperate with service, technical department, finance and logistics to ensure a good project plan/service planning and execution
- Enhance all activities within the QA system, and current HSEQ regulations
- Manage sales activities within defined areas
- Ensure customer relationship are maintained during the sales process
- Secure engineering resources to support the sales process
- Achieve sales targets in cooperation with Managing Director
- Regular contact with agents, shipyards, ship owners, consultants, prospective customers, etc.
- Contribute to give priorities to the Sales team in order to optimize sales work according to the company's marketing plan and strategy
- Contribute with input in order to maintain and optimal product range in accordance with the market requirements
- Participate in public relations activities in collaboration with the marketing director and marketing coordinator for the group
- Contribute to exhibitions, fairs, demonstrations, etc.
- Prepare quotations and carry out the sales process in accordance with work instruction
- Register orders in accordance with latest work instructions
- During internal contract review, help to ensure that products are ordered as accurately as possible
- Contribute to gather market intelligence to keep the company up to date on market position, prices, competitive conditions, etc.
Personal Qualities & Skills
- Minimum 2-year experience in sales, prior experience in marine, offshore &/or oil & gas industries will be an added advantage
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze consumer data to optimize sales efforts
- Knowledge of industry trends and regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
